Sims 3 Store - Thoughts?

EA announced The Sims 3 Store earlier yesterday. But I'm wondering what the purpose would be for it. Sims 2 Store seemed like a partial success in my opinion. Some things were simply too buggy from what I've read and it seemed like a total waste of money. Other things...seemed decent.

What are your thoughts with the announced Sims 3 Store? Is EA simply being too greedy?

Yes way too greedy although they probably think it will help them save cash by milking the poor fans!

So is everyone here agreeing that The Sims 3 store is a bad idea and it's more ways to grab money out of our wallets? (or we're all using Steve's credit card? :p)

Though, I'm going to have to wait until to see whether or not the Sims 3 store is going to be worth it... or if it's just going to exploit us for cash. I hope it's not the latter.

I doubt I'll use it. I've generally been able to find free stuff on the market that I liked better anyway. However, I'm not against it either. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that are more then happy to purchase things from the store.
