The Simschat has been a total zoo all day and yesterday about unleashed. Especially why not the local store has it.... Phew
Some good remarks has been heard though. Especially about cloning pets into new breeds (races). Seems to be very possible to do... I dunno..

I heard that the cats and dogs you can make skins for, just not change the body shape unless you got into meshes... so you could make a blue cat or dog I suppose, they said the skins for the pets are different because the head and body are one image, not 2 like for the sims themselves where the head is separate from the body.... I just got it and I haven't tried to clone or skin anything new yet... :p

ManagerJosh

Actually some of the places we moved I met people who had NEVER been out of their home state!! They lived in ONE house their whole lives, and hardly even left the TOWN!! That was a little weird for me... we moved a LOT when I was a kid, all over the United States.... I've only been to parts of Mexico outside of the US though.

Helén
10-17-2002, 11:22 PM
LOl it's about "Unleashed is out" - and so are we.. unleashed and out of topic.. :.D:p:D

timz2rules
10-20-2002, 01:17 PM
lol we always mess up topics hopelessly don't we...?

Helén
10-20-2002, 03:50 PM
well. I think so..

timz2rules
10-20-2002, 03:55 PM
we need to figure out how to not do that as bad...

Helén
10-20-2002, 04:06 PM
Hehehe.. You're right about that! :);)

FaeLuna
10-21-2002, 11:45 AM
...Maybe we can close off topics that have gone a few days without anything being ON topic in that thread anymore?? And also maybe when we see it's getting into a totally different topic, but it's interesting, we should start a new thread, and at the end of the original thread announce that we started the new thread and ask for the old one to be closed....

ManagerJosh
10-21-2002, 03:10 PM
I prefer not closing threads unless really necessary.

FaeLuna
10-21-2002, 03:32 PM
I think it's starting to make it hard for new people coming in to read threads they're interested in, there are threads that start out on topics maybe a new person would want to comment on, but by the time they read through to the end of the thread it's totally off topic. That's what I was thinking of....

Helén
10-21-2002, 05:20 PM
I think you're right about that Fae. I think we all are a bit "unleashed" about the threads. On the other hand they get to a point where the subject are more or less "finished", so we tend to get off topic very easiky here. ;)
*has a feeling she one of tje really big "sinners" in that*

At the same time i agree with you Josh. It's not time to close a thread until it "dies out". :)

How about a poll on it?? eekk.. *hides quickly behind her ears* :p

ManagerJosh
10-21-2002, 05:26 PM
any wonder why things leads to other places?

Helén
10-21-2002, 05:39 PM
NOt really Josh! :)

Bryan
10-22-2002, 03:07 PM
*makes a poll*

Helén
10-22-2002, 03:12 PM
LOL I'll bet you do.. *shakes her head*

Bryan
10-22-2002, 03:29 PM
I would but im to lazy :P

Helén
10-22-2002, 06:13 PM
You are? :) But you can change that if you want to. :)

FaeLuna
10-22-2002, 06:56 PM
You SHOULD make a poll Dude!! Just think of something we really need a poll for.... hmmm..... :)

Helén
10-22-2002, 08:32 PM
LOL! But what DO we need?

ManagerJosh
10-22-2002, 09:44 PM

Helén
10-23-2002, 10:52 AM
Ööhhhhh.... Ok..... I suppose that it is Dude that's supposed to think.. ;)

(No it's not a typo)

ManagerJosh
10-23-2002, 05:36 PM
oooooooo that would make a cute bunny;

Helén
10-24-2002, 01:28 AM
What Josh??

FaeLuna
10-24-2002, 01:36 AM
I can't tell for sure but he might mean the o and O with the dots over them look like round bunny bodies with lil ears???

Helén
10-24-2002, 01:41 AM
Ahah!!!! LOL!!! Oh Josh that letter is the last in the Swedish alphabeth. :classic:;) it's ö or Ö

FaeLuna
10-24-2002, 01:48 AM
what's it called? or how's it sound different from a regular plain o without the dots? :) I know Omega is the last letter in Greek letters....

Helén
10-24-2002, 02:12 AM
It's not really right but the pronounciation that comes pretty close is the letter "i" in the word "sir". It should be a bit more "open" though. heh.. Not easy to explain as I'm totally gone when it comes to phonetics.

timz2rules
11-03-2002, 09:46 PM
you shouldn't think, thinking is bad!

Helén
11-04-2002, 01:23 AM
who's thinking Tim?? You??

timz2rules
11-10-2002, 02:13 AM

FaeLuna
11-11-2002, 02:18 PM

Ok, a bit confused with all of this jumping around off topic but I can live with it.

First of all, I got my copy of Unleashed about a Moth ago. You have to go to a store and buy a pet unless it’s a parrot (by the way, parrots die really easily so you have to remember to keep feeding them).
There is a choice of about 10 kinds of Cats and Dogs that you can buy (don’t quote me on the numbers cuz I’m not exactly sure) One of the colours is a kind of grey blue so I guess you could call it blue.
You get a couple of new places that you can go to, the Pet store (of course) Old down town, a market garden and a few other community areas. One of which you can show off your pets in competitions if you want to.
You have to train your pets, if you decide to plant crops you have to have cats so that they will kill gophers.
If you leave your pets food outside everyone else’s pets come over and eat it and roam all over your house.
Your pet can’t get upstairs unless you have a stair case. There are new spiral staircases in the new game.
You have to play with you pets HEAPS and teach them tricks. You can also take them to the pet store and get a trainer to train them for you.
Puppies/dogs pee all over the floor and cat’s will too if you don’t get a litter box and clean it regularly.
Ok, can’t think of any thing else right now. I’ll come back to it later if any one wants to know any thing.

I live in Australia (a City called Geelong which is about an hours drive outside of Melbourne).
I was born in England and traveled to Germany many times with my family because my Mother was born there. My father is Polish.
I have an Irish husband and we have two teenage daughters. (Don’t even think about hitting me with any old lady jokes, I was a child bride.) **tries to look menacing but fails miserably!**

:)

Helén
11-19-2002, 06:01 PM
Lol Xanthist.
I have a daughter that is older than many of the people here, and I was not a childs bride. :classic:

PhilipTarbuck
11-21-2002, 07:51 AM
Xanthist: I always thought that Australia was very cosmopolitan. I can't place Geelong. I know that Sydney is on the bottom right hand bit (south-west), whereas Perth is at the other end - (south-east) - but Geelong?
Is Geelong a big city, or a small one? Is it surrounded by scrub land? Is it full of snakes (Tiger snakes in Perth?)?
I believe that there are none in Sweden and none to speak of here in England, but I expect you know that.

Helén
11-21-2002, 11:42 AM
We do have snakes in Sweden. One venomous and one nonvenomous. Within them there are a couple of different types. The one with venom is related to the rattlesnake actually. All snakes are under protection here. It's not that dangerous unless you're allergic. And they don't get very big either. :classic:
There is something special about snakes..... :classic:

PhilipTarbuck
11-22-2002, 02:32 AM
That was very interesting, Nina. I would have thought that Sweden was too cold for reptiles. We have a viper (or adder) that is poisonous and can kill small children and small dogs if they are not given the anti-venom fairly quickly. It doesn't attack unless it is stood on, which is hard to do because it knows you are coming from several 'blocks' away. I have seen two, both in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Neither attempted to attack me. One just looked at me and I looked at it and it eventually went away into the gorse.

Helén
11-22-2002, 01:52 PM
Yes. Viper is the common name Philip. Actually they go into hybernation wintertime in holes. And the viper here is most likely very closely related to the one in UK. You do need antivenom if bitten. But to compared to other snakes it's not that dangerous. It's behaviour is the same as yours. Normal carfulness and high boots on in the terrain - your safe even if you step on it.
This one is in 2 different colours. The most common is a greyishbrown with a black zig-zag band on its back. The other one is just plain black. But they aren't common at all anymore. :classic:

hmm...
