Upgrade Delays

There is huge upgrade delays right now. I've ran into huge problems while performing the site upgrade.

In addition, a newer version of our forum application was released so I'm working on installing everything that I've added back into the forums...

It appears the forum installation will be delayed as the software is currently in beta phrase.

I'll install version 2.2.8 as soon as it is released as stable.

We've been forced to halt the upgrade here.

We've finished upgrading the site software, however until vBulletin 2.2.8 becomes available, we won't be starting the import procedure of merging the sites together.

The current status stands at:

1) Main Site (http://www.worldsims.org) (Completed)
2) Upgrading Forum Software to version 2.2.8
3) Transfering Users to Forums
4) Forums Script Upgrade
5) Transfering Users to Main Site
6) Restarting System.

Everything should be in working order. If any errors, please report to me :)

Is there any date set for when the new version is supposed to become available?

vBulletin said that it will wait a few days after today to iron out all the bugs and make sure it is stable before going gold.
