my sim started out heavy set and i want to see if she loses weight, but she hasn't yet....is it like the sims 2 where they lose weight or is she always goin to be like this?

You have to put effort into exercising in order to loose weight. I don't think it happens overnight, or instantly, but your sim can loose weight as far as I remember.
