Public Beta? Possibility?

I was wondering if they might open a public beta test, I know they did it for The Sims Online but that is only because its was an MMORPG game and all MMORPG's are publicly tested for free. Does anyone know anyone who is testing or anyone that is, or wants to be... OR even knows if they will.

I believe they are only beta testing CaSIE, and only a few lucky webmasters get to try it out!

Like you said MMO's are tested for free because of the nature of the gmae. Normal games though are tested in house. If you look in the credits for a game you'll see a list of testers. What a dream job, huh? I suppose the only way you might be able to test is if you go down to Maxis HQ for a day and beg.

My friends older brother is testing it and he's not supposed to tell us certain things *but he might* I know it's frustrating that we all can't be beta testers but convince someone you know to be one! It's a lot easier. (I've never played the game or even seen it I just have to take his word for it which sucks like crap but I get over it.)

afro, hate to nag, but there is no way, even if your friend is testing, that he can tell us info about the game. obviously the testers are signing some kind of disclosure thing so they arent allowed to release the info. im sure MJ can explain this a bit better.

If I could get the sims 2 beta version I would download it even if it meant not using my computer for a day staight, thats is how much I want it.
