View Full Version : Will their ever be Demo ?

I'll make this a read only topic as I see no reason for this discussion to continue.

Maxis nor EA would ever approve or release a demo as it will give its competitors a chance to Reverse Engineer The Sims 2 and learn secrets about the game and implement them in competiting products before The Sims 2 Hits the Market and cause chaos for them as it makes The Sims 2 no longer have unique features.

In layments term. Someone will discover how the Sims 2 tick, borrow ideas or code for their own game, implement them, improve on them, and send it on the market before EA/Maxis does.

What ever happened to casie? Shouldn't we be getting that soon so people could get a taste of the game before it comes out? We shouldn't have to wait forever for it.

it makes snense that we wouldnt get a demo though. they dont want people playing before it comes out.

Give it some time, man. Don't you want it to be a surprise??? I seriously think that it would be better trying to avoid as much info on the sims 2 as possible, so it's much much much more fun cos u can figga out everything by yourself and ....yeah.......erm.....thats al i gotta say :P

Actually that wouldn't be true. People who went to Sims 2 University got to play the game :D
