Hey,
I'm really confused here.
This is what I got from the DirectX Diagnostic Tool:
operating system: windows xp home edition (5.1 build 2600)
memory: 254MB RAM
page file (i have no idea what that is): 373MB used, 252MB available
Display approx. total memory: 64.0MB

and this is what I got from system information:
Physical memory: 256.00MB
Available physical memory: 40.87MB
Total Virtual Memory: 880.36MB
Available Virtual Memory: 294.09MB
Page File Space: 625.91MB

I don't really understand the terminology (MB, RAM, the difference between virtual memory and physical memory... lol) and I want to know what I will need to upgrade (if anything) to be able to play The Sims2 on my computer. I'm totally clueless about this kind of stuff so I hope you can help me.

Thank you very much,
Diana:bunny:

I'm not sure. Where would I find that information?
Thanks a lot for replying.

Start > Run > type DXDIAG > Click Enter >

On the General Tab you'll see CPU and Memory
Click Display Tab and you'll see graphics :)

Thanks so much for your patience and time.
It says this:
Name: Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics
Chip Type: Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics
Approx. Total Memory: 64.0MB
Monitor: Plug and Play

Is that good? lol
Thanks a lot,
Diana

That's only graphics. No mention about a CPU.
