Does anyone have the official status of Body Shop at this point? It may have been scheduled for a May release in March... but where is it by now? It may be still delayed... sigh... :p

Mayor Rick on the Sims2 BBS seemed to have inside information that the beta testing was on schedule for a release this month. Let's just hope that he's correct!

But Josh, of course it's not new info for you. You seem to be one of the "insiders." He just seemed to know *how* the testing was going, not just that it was occurring. (Although you may have a good idea about that too.)

I'll say this.. no webmaster has CaSIE, not even myself has CaSIE. I have information but not necessarily one of the lucky chosen ones. It appears Maxis has given CaSIE to a group of selected group of skinners ranging from varies sites.

I don't know that for sure, we've only been shown some screen shots.

Im not going to model my sim to look like me anyway.

or even better I'll just let it generate some random mixes, that would be great. Just as long as I don't get a weird alien looking sim. x.x

I'm hoping that the skinners getting to test it help them work out all the bugs so it's easy to use when it's released! :D

I'm probably one of the ones going to spend hours and hours making skins and outfits for my sims to suit their personalities or have themed neighborhoods ets. :p I don't think I'll try for a sim that looks JUST like me though. :) I'll probably start with a randomly generated one and tweak it to suit my taste.

By the way, welcome Tri Ace Fan. :) I like the comic strip in your sig! :D

If you mean a neighborhood, no. SimCity4 is for making new neighborhoods of your own design. There will be neighborhoods which ship with the game if you are not interested in doing the terraforming and roadlaying with SC4.

So, you don't need to have SC4 to be able to have your Sim's neighborhood.

If you want custom terrains, yes you will need SimCity 4. However you can always download the custom terrains off sims fansites and use them in your game. No you will not need SimCity 4 to build custom neighborhoods.
