Every time I've seen this, on the TS2 official website news page I've had a little chuckle ... not so much for the typo as for the schoolboy faux-pas in sentence construction:

C'mon Josh ... you were there ... tell us about this big screen that E3 visitors had to attend on before they were admitted to the showing of the trailer? Were you forced to use it as well? Or were you excused by virtue of your Simversity Graduate degree? :D :p :rolleyes: :D :) :laugh:

well not sure what is there to complain. Thousands, probably millions of people were all over The Sims 2 booth at E3. So no doubt, what was said is true. It was shown to millions of people. However only discrepency is that they showed it on 3 smaller screens, and one Giant on in the center (it's bigger than my living room, and dining room combined...think the size of a theater...but only... BIGGER) of the EA Booth.

Josh I wasn't complaining .... I was teasing the poor overworked Maxis dudes who have left a really funny grammatical error on the main news page for over a week. Every time I see it a picture comes into my mind of a great happy crowd of Sims fans merrily riding a giigantic plasm screen , magic carpet style, as they disappear into a big circus tent ... and all I can hear from inside the tent is:
"got no reason for staying alive ... got no reason for watchin' my tv"

Don't worry I'm still not complaining. This is the nicest forum I've ever been on ... folks are soo nice and really friendly and helpful. I'll never complain, OK? ROFL :D

Heeheehee! That is a really FUNNY error in the use of the English language... the way they worded it would mean that then PEOPLE were on the big screen, NOT the video!! :eek: :p I would never have thought of it like a magic carpet style ride on a plasma tv though, now THAT was CREATIVE!! :D
