Hello!

I have a query for ManagerJosh - or anyone else who can help me. I'm leaving grey old England soon, and am planning on purchasing a new computer. I currently have a Dell, but someone mentioned to me about Alienware. I just want to know has anyone here have experience with Alienware, and what's the comparison with Dell? Should I stick with Dell, or go with Alienware instead? I will use my PC mainly for games (ie Sims2! :) ). Any help???

I've not owned one but I've read that one advantage of an Alienware laptop over a Dell (or other) laptop is that the Alienware ones can be updated much more easily than other laptops.

alienware is your absolute best bet for a gaming machine. thats pretty much the only thing they deal in. i dont own one but highly recommend.

My personal feeling is that if you are gonna go for their desktops, you might as well go with a third party vendor and construct one by yourself, or find an alternative solution to their laptops. I personally build my computers (notebook and desktop) which gives me a clear advantage over both Dell and Alienware.
