Hey everyone, I'm kind of scared and upset because the part of Texas I'm in is near the gulf and Louisiana, right where the big Hurricane is going to hit tomorrow. They closed off the freeway so people can't come in from out of town anymore, and we're planning on leaving tonight with our 3 cats with us, and going further north and inland to stay with friends. I'm nervous traveling with the 3 cats, and our car has had lots of car troubles, so please keep us in your thoughts!! I'm also freaking out because my parents are staying, and they just called and told me all the information about taking care of the family farm if they DIE! :( They gave me the lawyers phone numbers and everything. I know they are just being careful just in case, but it freaked me out. :(

OK I'm going to start reading all the new posts since I was here last, and try to cheer up. :)

Well I caught up on ALMOST all the posts, have to go pack now and evacuate early, they let my husband off work early, we're putting together the new cat carrier right now.... Hope to be back after the storm and see what all I've missed!!

Hey!!! I FINALLY got to sit down at a computer to let you guys know I'm ok!! We made it to my friend's house ok with the 3 cats meowing pitifully in the 3 cat carriers in the backseat most of the 7 hour trip up here. My husband had to go back to be at work Friday morning, as he only got the one day off for the Hurricane, and he took the cats back. One of them clawed me pretty good on the stomach and near my neck! It's healing up ok though. I'm staying with my friends till next Sunday and will be away from computer most of the time, my friend uses Linux Redhat so I'm having the fun of learning a different operating system while I'm here. :) I'm helping take care of their one year old baby boy, so I'm having fun... but it's exhausting!! Hope all is well with everyone, thanks for all your support and well wishes!!

Yeah, aloe vera is good for itches and cuts, scratches, stuff like that. I don't think we have any here right now, I used to have a plant at home till my cats got it... :p My cat scratches are healing up well, we did put neosporin type antibacterial ointment on them because they were swelling up. I hardly notice them now.

I'll have a TON of catching up to do when I get back to my home computer!! I'm getting a chance to pop in just to check this thread now while the baby's asleep. shhhhh.... be very very quiet.... ;)

My car has knocking noises when my husband drove himself and the cats home, but it turned out only to need an oil change, which is good because before this the car was broken for about a month and cost $1,300 to fix!! He should be picking me up Sunday. See you next week!!

Yay I'm FINALLY back home!!! My 3 cats got greetings and cuddles and I finally got to sleep in my own bed again. :) Now I have all my stuff to catch up on, and the house to clean up, and sims stuff downloading to do.... :p I'll try to catch up reading and posting in the forums but I've missed SO much!! Hope everyone is doing well and having fun!!
