Hi here I will show you how I make some of my custom content that I have posted at:

This Includes beards, clothes, eyecolor, and/or skin tone.

In order for me to tell how to make custom content I would like you to know what programs I have:

Photoshop 7.0
The Sims 2 Bodyshop
Paint (Only For Pics Of Creations)

(I will add, when I remember more)

Beards are fairly simple

1st. Use bodyshop and use a beard. I used the full grown beard for my point tip beard.

2nd. I did nothing to the MatBaseTextureName

3rd. In order to get what a different beard shape use the alpha.

4th. Load the alpha into your Editing program.

5th. Have Bodyshop open in order to see changes within the beard.

6th. Shade in the white with black. (With Photoshop use the brush at a high number in order to get rid of large areas)(With Photoshop use the brush at a small number in order to do some touchups)

7th. To get the even symmetric of the beard.... copy the side of the beard you are working on and copy and flip it horizontally onto the right side... then move it until the lines match up.

8th. Save the file when your finished.

9th. Check Bodyshop to see if it is what you wanted.

10th. This is optional. Send a snapshot of the new beard to my email. Thanx.

Cool! Thank you for making this beards tutorial! I love the trick of copying one side and flipping it so the beard is symmetrical! I'm not sure I would have ever thought of that! :D (I just wish that trick would work for my hubby to get his real life beard even, hahahaaaa!)
