Cute dog. But it looks more like a cocker spaniel. I'm afraid that's not a dachshund. They are small long ack very short legs and are hunting dogs. So I think that this cutie is a spaniel actually.
I'll see if I can scan some pictures of champion dachshunds for you Lucas.

But I think that dog is really nice..

Lucas. It's a cute dog, but not a dachs. Sorry but i'm grown up with dachshunds. It's originally a german hunting dog in 3 different sizes and 3 different hairs: longhair, wiredhair and shorthair. It's mainly used for hunting fox and badges. Even rabbits, hare and deer. In it's normal size it's up to 24 pounds in weight (12kg) and no more than 30 cm high (approx. 12 inches) to the back. The other 2 variants are even smaller than that and not really into hunting.
The dog i take care of is one. She's also a showchampion. I have photos of her mother and realtives i can send to you or anyone else. The german name is: "Dachshund". Here it's called "tax".
Maybe it's supposed to be one. i don't know, or se are talking about different breeds here.
The ones I care for is longhaired, standard breed dachs.
So anyone who wants to know what breed it actually is can PM me a mailaddy and I send it to you. Or if there is a possibility that Josh can put it on the web for you. I don't have the means.

Nin, that's the duschound in the game. I'm sure. The cocker is another one. My neighbor (the real life one) has a duschound, and i had one already, and i know that it isn't much alike the one in the unleashed game. But on the game, that's the duschound.... Ok? I'll send the picture of the cocker, so you'll compare....

I wonder if someone will make a mesh for a longer shorter legged dachshund that's more dachshund shaped?? The nickname for them here is "Weiner Dogs" as they are long like a hot dog.. haha!! A friend I knew had a REALLY sweet shorthair named Wesley who hung out at the university student center all the time and we all LOVED the sweet doggie!!! Poor little guy got a little overweight begging scraps from so many students ALL the time though!! He had to go on special diet doggie food!
