Hi,
When ever i load The Sims 2, i get this error, "The procedure entry point ThunkConnect32 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL", and after, Sims 2 loads all the way to the EA logo and then my entire computer freezes up...

What does this mean, and how can i fix it?

Thanks.

hmm... it would help if you gave us what version of windows you have (98? me? 2000? xp?). You might have to re-install windows or use system restore to restore it to an earlier point.

let us know if this helps

Thanks, i'll try to re-install or system restore.
By the way, i have Windows XP and use NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX, (not sure if that will help).

Theres a good chance that you may have edited or deleted one of the system files by accident. Definately try what astare said. ;)

you have windows xp so you can system restore easily. try going back progressively until you reach a point where you don't get the error anymore. if that doesn't work, install service pack 2 (that may fix the problem)... or as a last resort, re-install windows xp

let us know what happens :)
