Invalid File - help!

I'm having issues with installing TS2 - the movie file ssx_INTRO is empty and obviously won't copy to my machine. Will I have to get a new CD to play, and can I take advantage of my 90-day warranty for this? Everything else is fine (memory, hardware, etc). Thanks.

that sounds like a file that is used whenever sims play SSX on the computer or a gaming console. unfortunately, I do not have the game yet, so I won't be able to help much until Monday (when my game arrives). hopefully someone else here can help you. however, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game because maybe setup copied the file incorrectly. also make sure there are no smudges or scratches on the CD or DVD.
