Hi,I bought the sims and on the 2nd disk it will say failed to transfer "blah blah blah" i think theres a problem with the files or something can anyone give me the compressed file from the disk2?

This problem sounds like a faulty CD. You need to seek a replacement from the supplier.

World Sims does not support pirated games.

Well, that specific file refusing to copy is one of the symptoms of attempting to install off a copied version of the CD.

My version is not pirated. I got it for Christmas and opened all the original packaging myself.

I guess I need to call Maxis or EA games or someone and get a replacement? I sent an email about this problem to tech support but got no response.

How about taking the disks back to the store as defective and getting a new one? If your comuter has a DVD drive, trade it for that.
