The picture was took on the "night-sim" period. That's why it's dark. Ok, here are the main actions of the macaw... If you click on it, these stuff will appear

*give cookie
*clean
*put food
*talk
*dance

On both big birds (the red and the white one) the options are available. For the little birds, you can play, feed and also clean. The thing in the center of the screenshot is a bird cage. You choose between the little australian birds or the african parrots. They're just available on the community lots
