The Basement Struggle..

So far this is what I have down to creating a successful basement:


Create a foundation, the size is your choice
Hold CTRL and delete the middle section of your foundation
Go down a floor
Use the Terrain tool, and lower the ground in the middle section
Add Stairs, and carpets, lights and wall paper.
Go up a floor and put carpet over the hole.
Complete the rest of your house
The problem is people treat the foundation floor as a regular floor and not a foundadtion itself. remove the foundadtion and replace it with dry wall. Once the floor underneight is the same height as the foundation, remove the foundadtion and replace it with drywall
