Rich simmies?

I was wondering, Ive seen in the sims trailers where the rich sims have their own maids etc etc, both my simmies have full skill points and are at the top rank of the culinary job, are the maids in the movie just plain "acting" or we can actually hire one to live with us? I hope Im making sense lol :p

I don't know about hiring one to live in, but I know you can marry one.

I dont know if you mean a full time, live in maid, or just one who works days, but you can get a day maid simply by calling "services" maid on your phone.
