Well I can't even play the darned thing :eek: , my hubby has to go and update and buy me a new video card, and install it...so Looks like I wait til XMAS for mine ,NOT FAIR!!!!! :(

aww that would be absolutely horrible for me! make him rush and get it asap!!! Or find a friend whose computer will run it and live in their house 24/7 lol

Oooh I'm sorry to hear that!! :( I hope you can get the new video card SOON!! My hubby has been supportive of my fussing over getting the computer ready for Sims 2... I hope yours understands as well!!

Certainly video cards are very important to playing the Sims2, but according to most avid players of SimCity4 (another graphic intensive Maxis/EA product) high-speed RAM (and lots of it) is the real key to game performance.
