Help me with building houses

I cant build new houses. Everything is OK with my game only this one thing. I can choose construction tools ,I can choose wall but I cant build it because nothing happend when I'm trying build it on empty terrain.

Are you using the No-CD patch, because this is a common problem with it. If you are, try playing the game with the cd instead and see how it works.
