Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this in the wrong category...:depressed: , but I need help... I downloaded things from Simstuff.com.. and what not, i know you have to unzip the files... i've tried but alas.. windows can't open ANY of the files.... :( :confused: ... Anyone get it???? Plz, if anyone can help.Get a hold of me.... :eek: :eek: :confused:

Go get Winzip and Winrar. Windoze's native handling of zip files is awful, and it has no capabilities to handle RARs. Both file formats are commonly used in distribution.

Thank you.. but, the window that usually installs things to sims2 pops up after i unzip and what not.. "Please double-click a custom content package file to install the content." ..... what??????? :confused: :confused: :confused: .....grrr, this is so frusterating. :mad:

Do you actually unzip the file? Don't try to run it directly out of a zip file, that tends to cause problems. Unzip the file to someplace like your desktop or a temporary directory, THEN run it.

i'm having the exact same problem while im trying to get the bar and the com says the exact same thing......... i know wat you mean i just dont get it:mad: are you supposed to install it in order to upload it?

You should be able to unzip and place the unzipped packaged file into the Downloads folder in your Sims 2 folder (all under My Documents). Your files should be in the game once you put the packaged files into the right folder. If it's not a packaged file, you should double click and install the thing that way.


I had to figure this out on my own, and even then I'm confuzzled at the concept. :confused:
