Unable to install the sims 2

Hello, I have a problem that I wouldn't mind help with. I've recently borrowed The Sims 2 from my friend.
I've tried to install it but at 14% of installing it says it cannot find 'TSData\Res\Sound\Voices.package'
Is this because I have borrowed the game from my friend? Please tell me if I am correct or how I can find this file if that is not the reason.

Please purchase a copy of The Sims 2. "Borrowing" the game from your friend is still an act of piracy.
