My hubby came home from work tonight with HALF of what he was supposed to pick up for dinner, so the poor guy had to run back out to get the rest of the take out... I'm sitting here smelling the take out that's already here and trying SOOO hard to be good and wait for him to get back!! :laugh:

I have telephoned AOL five times in two days. Previously I hadn't telephoned them for a year. I had to take it all out and put it back and tell the (?!) computer not to re-dial all the time. I don't know whether it is working yet. At present I am reasonably happy. But, then, I usually am. I don't go about with a frown on my face.

The Computer (I think I will call him Fred) does not immediately dial AOL now. but he does a very strange thing. When I have been playing a game and then come out of it completely. Then I leave Fred alone for an hour or two, perhaps when I am going 'running' or something. Then I come back and hit 'return' to get back the picture on the screen. Fred regards that as an invitation to restart the last game I was playing. My wife says that it is very considerate of Fred to do a thing like that.
I have phoned AOL 8 times in the last three days. They have got it right every time. They are so patient. I think that they must have a lot of nutty people, just like me.

My grandma dad (don't know the name in english) came from italy. If my grandma was italian, i would be able to have italian direct acess.... Like... i take a passport and on it it would count as if i were italian too (it works like this). But it's just for grandpa/grandma.... Not older generations.... aaaw... :( my mom does have, but she needs to prove and to get her passport.. :( :(

My wife has partially (not quite completely!) forbidden me from answering the telephone. It all springs from the day I nearly fooled my daughter. I usually reply to callers with something like 'This is Henry Hall, and tonight is my Guest Night.', or 'This is the Hitcham fish and chip shop..'. In her case I answered that it was an embassy of a famous power (where most people live?). She was fooled into thinking that the voice was real. Really?!?!?

it would be nice to have a boy but if its girls i get then i m happy cause both were very small when born so i was just glad they were healthy!!

I had chicken soup for lunch in real life an hour or so ago... after forgetting it in the microwave for a couple of hours.... after I'd found 2 hot dogs there when I was putting the soup in... the hot dogs were from trying to have them for breakfast this morning... it's been that kind of day!!!

First time i been in here and just got to say something, today i went into a starbucks to get a drink, i usually just get cofee from the machine but everyone was saying that extra £1 for the cofee at starbucks is worth it.

So i went in there was no que becuase it was 11am so there were just a few people sitting down and my freinds where sitting on the couch. The clerk asked for my order. I said i'd just like some dark cofee please. Actually i'll wright the convo.

"May i help you?"

"Um yah i'd like a dark cofee please, no sugar."

"what kind?"

"huh? just...dark"

"no what kind of cofee"

"just regular dark cofee"

"well what kind of cofee, low? deecaf? (then she mentioned all sorts of crap)"

"Just plain cofee"

"But what kind!?"

"LOOK I JUST WANT SOME COFEE, NONE OF THIS CRAP! I CAME HERE FOR COFEE NOT MILK WITH A TAD OF COFEE NOT ORANGE AND PEACH WITH A TINT OF ESPRESSO I JUST WANT A REGULAR COFEE FOR A WAKEUP OK!?"

"There's no need to be so strict"

"YES THERE IS I CAME HERE AND ASKED FOR COFEE NOT FOR AN INTRODUCTION INTO CUBA'S NEW "OTHER" EXPORT AND IT'S FINE RANGE I JUST WANT SOME BLOODY COFEE!"
