Urgent Help Please!

Sorry if this is really stupid of me but I am having a mental breakdown.

I went to play Sims 2 today for the first time in a long time and I seem to have lost disc one. Oh fantastic, only the most important of the 4 **** discs. This wouldn't be too bad cause I haven't played in a while so I could do without, BUT I am getting University for my birthday on Thursday. And now have no way to play... Do I need to insert Disc One of Sims 2 for installation of University? Is there anyway I can get around it?

:rolleyes:When you install University you won't need **** 1 at all. You just use the University disks! Try, actully waiting for the game and trying to install it before doing a thread.:rolleyes:

You'll need the disc for when you install University as it asks for the disc to confirm that you indeed own the game. And you need it to play the game as the game is deliberately made to disable functions when a noCD hack is used.

Maxis considers noCD hacks to be piracy. And they are not allowed to even be discussed other than as a warning not to discuss them on this site. (Same with the official site.)

To prevent people from being tempted to do something that could get them banned from the site, I'm going to close this thread now.
