I've just bought TS2.When I started to install it,it went fine in the disk one until with the file "TSData\Control\Control1.dat" that requires disk 2.When I inserted the disk 2,the installation doesn't continues....
So,I decided to opened the disk 2 with My Computer. But an error appear that says "The Drive cannot find the sector requested",I clicked the retry button for about 15 times but it still doesn't opened.
Finally i decided to copy the contents of the disk1 and 4 (my disk 3 had the same problem with disk 2) to TS2 file on Drive C.When i clicked the Sims.exe icon,a picture of the Sims 2 title appear but an error also appear that says "Please insert the correct CD-Rom,and restart the application".

I also wanted to change my disk back to the store, but I've searched on the internet who had the same problem when they had changed their disk. Please help me!!I wanted to play this game so badly but i can't install it.PLEASE!!!!!

[P/s]:If u want to help me,can u explained it to me step by step co'z i'm not such an expert about computer.Thank You.

My basic conclusion is this:

Your computer is basically too old to run a game like The Sims 2. It's struggling in the installation because its being overwhelmed right now and your resources are getting used up too quickly that Virtual RAM and RAM aren't kicking in fast enough as well as the amount of hard disk space left (which is probably so little, it can't even support Virtual RAM).

My suggestion is as followed:

Get a much better computer....
