Birthday Cakes Gone Wrong

So you think that everything's just going fine and dandy on a birthday right? --Wrong! Somehow I think I really messed up my Sims and their aging. Now everytime one of the Sims blows out their candles, they grow up, but then only have one day until they have another birthday. I want my birthdays back to normal, please, if anyone can give me some help...

I want my birthdays back to normal, please, if anyone can give me some help...

Some things I can think of to check:
How many character files are in your neighborhood's file? (There are some very strange corruptions that can happen if you have more than 800 characters in that file.)

Do you have any game mods that you are using since some conflict with others and cause problems? (I tend to only use those from a single mod maker with other additions only when they've discussed which other mod maker's mods/hacks will work with them.)

Do you have any other things you've noticed in your game which are odd? (Sometimes files can get corrupted and will lead to weird things.)

Can you get around the problem by turning off aging?
