In Game Menus

While i am in the game, trying to navigate my way between anything, ie build to buy to family, or whatever, the menu disappears. but as soon as i hit an arrow key it will reappear, then as soon as it stops moving the menu will dissappear.

I am using a Mac G5.... can anyone help me

ps there are no modifications to the game... i have already tried to totally erase all my Sims 2 data and reinstall it :mad:

problem solved, it was a problem with my OS and video card, update is required.... Get the update

this is dissappointing... the patch was supposed to:

- Fix a rendering issue on computers equipped with NVidia GeForce FX 5200 video cards and Mac OS X 10.4.3. On these configurations, portions of the UI would disappear or fail to render completely. This was especially noticeable when the camera stopped moving.

And that is exactly what i have, a Powermac G5 with Tiger 10.4.3 and a GeForce FX 5200... i installed the patch and it is yet to work, i think they need to refix the patch

I am so frustrated with this game, I have a powerbook g4 and my menu keeps disapearing, I have uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing seems to work. you would think they test these things out before they put them on the market. can ANYONE HELP ME! thanks

Do you have the latest patches made available by Aspyr?
