Okay. I've been playing TS2 on a newer computer, and it works almost perfectly. Now, I'd like to install my gae on a slightly older computer, and it won't let me.

Here are my specs:

Windows XP Pro
NVidea 8500LE Videocard
9.24 GB Hard Drive Space Left
AMD Athlon Processor
698 MHz
256 MB RAM

There is also Windows Messenger that keeps trying to access the internet during the installation process.

The installation stops at Object Pack 09, and says that there was an error in the transfer of that file. After a look at what DID get installed, guess what was there. Object Pack 09! The computer didn't know it installed it, yet, it did.

Can somebody tell me what I can do?

Please note the system requirements. Based on the information you gave me, you aren't even hitting several of the minimum requirements on this older PC. :)

If you have a T&L capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM then you need at least:

800 MHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive spaceIf you have a non-T&L capable video card (an Intel Extreme Graphics or a Radeon 7000/VE Series) then you need at least:

2.0 GHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive spaceSupported video cards (and the more video memory the better):

ATI RadeonTM series (7000 or better)
Radeon 7000/VE series (non-T&L; requires 2.0 GHz processor)

9000, 9200, 9500, 9600, 9700, 9800
X300, X600, X800

NvidiaŽ QuadroTM series
Quadro, Quadro2, Quadro4

Well, that sucks. Now I have to keep playing on the other computer. I live in Southeast Louisiana, and my area was hit hard by Katrina, but there are TONS of perectly fine computers on the streets, and maybe I acn find a good one. (hehe)
