I'm confused about what I'm supposed to do ... for example, I bought a guitar at location #2. Now I'm at location #4 and I get a Want to play guitar. I don't want to buy a new one ... so I travel back to location #2? But I also need to eat well, and I bought the best kitchen stuff at location #3 ... so I should travel there to eat? Or buy the guitar and all the kitchen supplies all over again at each new location?

Maybe I just don't get Story mode. The point of this mode is .... ?? Maybe I'm a free mode player..... Can anyone help me understand this?

Basically what the creators wanted to do was give us something different than whats on offer on the PC game - which was story mode but if you ask me playing the sims2 is like playing bustin out - except they are in 3d. So the point of story mode is that you get to experience different environments and meet different people - because if you stick to free mode you can only stay in one house with the same people unless you evict them and build them another house. In my opinion free mode is better because i think the places to go in story mode are incredibley boring, although i dont think free mode is that much better as you cant raise a family or have generations or grow old and all that stuff and the variety of items is really really limited and its nothing compared to the PC version, i mean i havent played the PC verison yet but from what ive been told, as the sims2 is really demanding on your computer. Well i hope that answered your question if you have any others id be happy to answer them.
