Tomb Raider: Firefall @ Paramount's Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia is a new ride that opened for thier 2005 season. It's a "huss floorless topspin" (if you know what a topspin is) that has two arms that hold up a gondola that riders sit on as the arms moves and the gondola flips upsidedown! This ride has real Fire effects, water effects, and steam effect! Thats not all, the ride also has themeing around it and music that is in sync with the ride. You will see what I mean when you watch it. It's an awsome ride start to finish! Heres the program.
Floors drop and music starts.
Arms raise slowly up and the gondola locks and an angle
Arms move down bringing the gondola upsidedown at the bottom and goes up the other side and release and flip 2 times in a row back downward...
Arms move back to the top swinging the gondola and locks at the top
Arms move back downward the way it just went up and the fire starts and riders face down to it as they feel the heat
At the last second water cannons pop and the gondola is released hlaf way down and swings.
Arms goes back up and gondola locks at an angle again
Arms move back downwards bringing the gondola upsidedown at the bottom and release half way up and flips 4 times in a row while the arms are mvoing back downwards and the fire comes on again
After the flips water cannons pop and arms raise gondola up
Then arm comes back down slowly and the music stops the floors come back up and the ride is over
