One Sims 2, three family members!!!!! AHHH

I recently purchased Sims 2 for OSX. However I am only able to play it on one of our computers. The problem is my two other sisters also want to play their own game. Please don't tell me that we all need to have our own copy of the game? We don't have the money to purchase separate copies and really don't think that we should since the game is only played with our own family. I tried making a copy with Apples own Disk utility software and after I go through the process and burn a copy it still tells me to insert the original Sims 2 copy. PLEASE HELPPPPP!!

You will need to buy one copy of The Sims 2 for each computer you want to run it on. No we won't help you get around that as that is piracy.
