Hehehe congrats Flamey! Kind of appropriate that the moderator of the Forum games board gets the 1000. :p

ROTFL Yes! It sure is! Ha, I'm just kidding, I'm proud of my little brother...got his B.S. in civil engineering...there is no way I could have done that! And he graduated with honors! 3.5 GPA And now he's off to Iowa State to get his Masters right away. The department he's working for while he gets his masters is paying 100% for his schooling, full insurance benefits, and he's getting $1800.00 a month stipend for living expensives! I'm jealous! But I also have no interest in taking all the math and science classes he has to take...speaking of math...

858. Hmm, that's about how old I am, give or take a few hundred years.
Hey, Vega, I like what you say in your signature about the stars.
Reminds me of how much I like to look at pictures of space taken by the Hubble telescope. Sometimes the picture may look like it's just another field of stars, and then turns out to be a field of galaxies, millions of them. Makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I do not believe we have ever been 'visited' by life born under a distant star, nor ever will be (distances between stars is too great) but we are definitely not alone.
Sorry, WAY off the game topic here. Back to counting. Who's got the next number?
p.s. The German is the correct numberI'm blushing now.

The number 755 was patented in 1897 by Austrian perfumier Adolf Ingersöll who planned to market a new eau de toilette to rival the more famous Eau de Cologne: 4711 (that number being the address of the Cologne perfume house, thus: 4711, Köln).
Sadly Herr Ingersoll's bold adventure perished when his entire family perished with Titanic. Also interred with the waves was the sizable stock with which he proposed to launch his alluring fragrance in the USA.
Cut loose from its energetic founder, Adolf's young company diversified and soon ceased production of scent and began, instead to manufacture a disinfectant that was much prized by German troops during the Great War, because it had a wonderful deodorizing property that kept the foul stink of the Allied powers' trenches from pervading across no-mans' land: an eventuality that might have driven the hun from the field several years before the war was finally ended by an enterprising Yankee soldier, called Abraham Arbuthnot who suggested, guilessly, one day, that maybe the Germans would run away if "we start shooting at them with bullets".
Isn't it amazing what you can find in the Wikipedia?
