Cant build please help

Whenever i go into build tool click on build wall for ex. but nting happens i cant build anything. Someone please help.

I think the only time this happens is when you download the game from online or something like that. Did you? If you did, I recommend you get the real game, because piracy is bad. :(

and if you have a legal game then you might not be able to build if you don't have enough simoleons.

Or you are trying to build slightly out of bounds.

Or your game has a glitch on that lot.

You may want to do a forum search to find more about this.

However, downloading the game (which is software piracy) or use a NoCD hack (which Maxis treats as software piracy) will both prevent the build tools from being available. Those tend to be the most common reasons for the problem (if you can't build at all on any lot.)

I have a legal version and every once in a long while I get a lot that won't let me build something, like foundation or walls.

If you have a legal version, try starting a new lot. That one could just be "cursed."

That's why I said "on any lot" regarding the software piracy issues.

I've had this problem too. It was related to that bug where you hire someone and they become invisible but don't ever leave the lot. For me it started with a bad fireman visit. And in spite of my family escaping that lot and having it bulldozed, every lot I put in that position ended up with the same problem. (But the family had no problem when I finally moved them to a completely different area of the neighborhood.)

I had a cursed "lot". It seemed to be related to a bad fireman visit, but it was that bug where people who come to the house (such as maid and gardener) become invisible but never leave the lot. Even moving the family out, bulldozing the lot, and then rebuilding on that spot didn't help. Every time I put a lot on that spot, the same thing happened.

But I *was* able to have the family in a completely different area of the neighborhood without any problem. It just seemed that that area of the neighborhood was "cursed."
