Sims2 Holiday Won't Install

I tried to install Sims2 Holiday and a window pops up "Install CD 1"
CD 1 is installed already. I then put it in the other CD Drive and it still doesn't work. I have uninstalled "Nightlife" and just have Sims2 installed and Holiday still will not install.
I have also downloaded and installed the Patch for Sims 2 and rebooted the machine, then tried to install Holiday again.

This is for my daughter who is jumping up and down to get this installed. :-) Especially since she's on Christmas break and has the time to play Sims right now.
So - any help or assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to install Sims 2 Holiday or the Holiday Party Pack?

It's the Sims2 Holiday Edition.
I am having my daughter uninstall all her versions of SIMS and just
install this first to see if it works.

Any other advice?

Uninstalling everything and then installing Sims 2 Holiday worked. No error messages no nothing. My daughter's only concern is that she lost her houses.

However, now she can play Sims2 Holiday and her Nightlife expansion pack.
