I know this isn´t the right forum, but I want to inform you all of a virus going on. I was downloading some stuff for my sims2 charcters, clothes, furniture and stuff, when suddenly I was attacked with a trojan horse. I managed to scan everything on my pc, and found out that it came from, or used, a Sims2 download page to enter my computer. So in other words, be careful what sites you enter. Not all of them are what it seems.
I also have a question: I managed to get a Spydoctor programme downloaded to scan the pc and delete. It scans alright and finds the infested files, but when it hits 100% of scanning, it just freezes. Any ideas? Naturally I want to delete those files, not decorate the startup screen with them

Two programs i depend a lot on are Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and Microsoft's Antispyware. Those two program I manage to knock out 99.999% of all spyware

spybot search and destroy is a free/shareware program that you might find helpful. of course having an active virus scan is a good thing like McAfee.
