I've done it using JMP's ffsdebugger which unzips as a yellow box object that you can buy (for 1 simoleon). It's located in the miscellaneous section of the buy mode. You can get it here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/nl/hacks/

there may be similar threads like this but how do you put downloaded files such as the ffdsebugger into your game

There are a couple of threads at least. Read this one:

and also this one:

A search (using the search function above) will probably give you tons more.

In nightlife, there is an aspiration reward called the Re-Nu-Yu Orb. It looks like a silver sphere. It can be used to change a sim's aspiration, but be careful using it below yellow aspiration--you may end up with a Grilled Cheese sim.

Sometimes in Uni you get an option saying that you can change your sims aspiration and turn on and turn offs

LOL Gyro, that's always at the end of the sophomore year. ;)
:o Not being a latin scholar and sophomore not being a term in use in the UK it only just occurred to me that I ought to look up its etymology. It just means: smart arse (well the US equivalent anyway :p )

To change my sims' LTW I use JMP's college clock.
