I'm wondering what everyone thinks about SimGolf? Is it worth getting or should i save my money?

I would suggest playing the three hole demo before buying the game. However, I bought it without the demo first and I thought it was great. Although it helps to be a fan of golf to enjoy it.

Try it out first to see if you like it.

Over here in the UK, we've been waiting five months for this game. It arrived on Friday, the European release already patched to v1.03, it is still buggy but is extremely addictive and worth the wait. I'm hooked.

If you like the demo, you'll love the full version. I'm now trying to get Dolphin Bay ratified as a Grandslam course. It's just got its first $1,000,000 18-hole tournament.

Just like Maxis did for The Sims...although, most expansion packs (excluding Livin' Large) added features to the game.

Didn't living large add job paths?

LordBrain515

Yeah, but so did some of the other expansion packs. Besides, I don't really consider new jobs as new features.

I would suggest its just a waste a money

It wasn't all too bad. Living Large paved way to other expansion packs :)

Can golf really be fun as a game?? Never understood it. Maybe it's because I don't know enough about the sport? Seems that golf as a game is mostly for people who's keen for the sport. Maybe I'm wrong...

Well... it would if he had much of an interest in it... I'm afraid I'm the one sims crazy. :P He just isn't much into the computer... not much into computer games... only things he plays on the computer are the Hollywood Stock Exchange and the Pinball game that comes with win xp. ^-^

ManagerJosh

Perhaps you could put headphone on him at night and have a tape recorder repeat consistenly "You like the sims..you know you like the sims....When you wake up you want to play The Sims.....You like how they move...You love designing objects...."

And so forth :D

FaeLuna
