Do Opposites Attract?

I have these 2 sims that I'm considering marrying to each other. He's a painfully shy obsessive neat freak (10 neat points) and she's a very outgoing sloppy party girl. They have 2 bolts for each other, though. The first date went very well. Can it work, or are they doomed?

He has to get married to fulfill his mother's lifetime want. Time is short as she is getting up there in elderly years. The girl right now is living with a distant relative's family, acting as a live-in nanny. She is unattached, except for the college guy she thinks she's in love with. She doesn't know yet that she was just a number to him, on his way to 20 different woo-hoos.

One thing does work between them. He's fortune and she's popularity. He can make the money and she can throw fabulous parties with it. He'll just have to hide in the bedroom since he hates parties. He couldn't even stand the idea of a birthday party to celebrate his new adulthood.

How could these two possibly get along? I think it might be interesting!

My Kyle Simpson and Peggy Sue Yokel are exactly like that. Peggy Sue is sloppy, outgoing, and loves parties. Kyle is a neat freak and spends all their party time hiding in the bedroom on the computer, or goes outside and looks through the telescope. Except for that, they are madly in love. :) He's a knowlegde sim, though.
