Hey Guys!

How are you all doing? I hope your summers are going well. This is the creative corner. Heres where you can express your ideas and thoughts. To get us started a little i'll ask a question.

What would you all like to see in the upcoming expansion packs?

I thought creative corner was suppose to be on creative things like poetry, prose and writing....and not on what do you want to see in the next expansion topics... :rolleyes:

As in a forum for games? Creative Corner was more about showing off artwork, poetry, prose, and writing :)

Well, i may not have any art, but i have a funny joke!

ok

This lady was talking to her neighbor and her neighbor asks 'so how are you?' To which to women replies "well i'm feeling pretty good today, i just gave a five doller bill to a bum" Then the neighbor says "wow! five whole dollars? What did your husband say to that?" And the lady says "Well he though it was the right thing to do, he said thanks"

I've got a joke, but I think it will loose it's effectiveness if it's read instead of heard out loud. Ok, here it goes.

One day in church, the pastor addresses the congregation and he said, "I'm the pastor of this church. I make $200 per week...and that's not enough."

The bishop, who was attending today's service stood up and he said, "I'm the bishop of this chruch. I make $400 per week..and that's not enough."

The organist stood up in the balcony and he said, "I'm the organist at this church. I make $3000 per week...and there's no business like show business..."

It is sorta hard to interpret emotions here. I was thinking the joke was soo funny James. Never intended for me to sound condecending or mad. :)

I'm thinking of taking organ lessons. My piano teacher also teaches organ. All I need to do is ask my church to let me in to borrow their organ (since I don't have one of my own). The only problem with that is they'll be asking me to play for them all the time (they already ask me to play the piano a lot).

...does making objects, walls, floors, skins etc count as art? ^-^ I make them using an art program... photoshop... I guess this is more for creativity OUTSIDE the game? What if I wrote a poem about my sims... uh oh now I'm getting ideas....

wow... my mom played organ in church and NEVER got paid much... maybe $60 for playing at a wedding?? Where SHOULD she have been playing at!!?? :-P

Anything creative. Some people can use this forum as to show off avatars, latest creations (doesn't have to be sim)

It is an open forum for ideas, writing, prose, artwork, and anything related to art and that is creative :)

I don't think there is any organist that gets paid $3000 per week. It's just a joke.

Yeah, but $3000 per week...say you work 48 weeks per year, thats $144,000 per year. Not even first chair players in orchestras get paid that much.

A dog eat dog world...unfortunately I got to agree with that...I have come across so much backstabbing and politics everywhere...and you may be suprised but I even see it in churches and non-profit organisations...

The few that always wants to crush and destroy and profit on others, nestles themselves in everywhere. Because of them many organisations and religious groups getting a bad reputation.
