What happened to the different bridges?

What I missed a lot while playing SC4 are the bridges. I miss seeing the Golden Gate Bridge, or one of those small, brown bridges....

Anybody have the same feeling?

Pertaining to transportation, el-trains would be awesome..

I think it is determined by the length of your bridge like in SimCity 3000

U are right Josh...u get those Golden Gate bridge like bridges when the bridge is of a certain length

The type of bridge built actually depends on the elevation of the land it begins and ends on. As you can see in this screenshot, the two bridges are the same length, but connect different levels of terrain.

Also, you are only able to create Golden Gate bridges with Highways as shown here next to a standard highway bridge:

I have seen the ones like in the first shots form in my game, but haven't done any highways yet. I think I am going to play around with different things for a bit and see what they look like. Thanks for the shots Sam! :classic:
