Bodyshop?

Hi again,



Ive had TS2 since Christmas '04. I have loved it since.


But one thing I have wondered:


*** is body shop?


everytime I use it,its all weird.

I understand its puporse, but like...


I just dont get it. The clothes seem to be the same in game, it runs laggy.

Bassically if someone can tell me or link me or something with info, that would be great.

You have to export the clothes and edit their image files.

Go look for some tutorials to help you, as I don't use bodyshop.

Apart from its function as a tool for the importation/exportation of custom content into the game, Body Shop also has a much better set of sim creation tools than the stripped down version of Body Shop that the game uses for Create A Sim. For example BS has 3 separate tools for sizing and postioning cheek bones, CAS has none at all.

Body Shop is probably slow to load and baulky to run because it's not intended to be used as a playable game. It's just a tool that has a lot to do. It is miles better and more effective as a sim creation tool than the in-game CAS!

I always make my new sims with Body Shop and then look for them in the custom sims menu (the button next to the dice button) in CAS.
