On Monday morning my phone started ringing - it was about ten am. It woke me up. I looked at it blankly - the caller had withheld the number, and answered it. (I am NOT a morning person, BTW.) 'Hello?' There was silence down the phone. 'FINE THEN!' I shouted, and put the phone down. (Told you so :o .) Of course, now I couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to watch Freinds (again). At about eleven, I went downstairs (Mum and Lee were both at work) and began to make toast, when the house phone rang. I answered it.

'Hello, is that Emma?'
'Yes...?' I replied.
'Well hi Emma. It's Miss Sharpe from school here.' I was thinking, uh-oh... and also, wah?
'Oh hi Miss!'
'I'm just calling to see why you're not in school today.'

WHAT KIND OF PERSON FORGETS TO GO TO SCHOOL?

I thought that we were still on half term holidays! Our school is reallky awkward, and usually we have a week and a day off. Silly arse here just PRESUMED that we had a week and a day off.

So I think I've topped everyone here on blondeness. I will wear my dunce hat with pride. :D

me, too. I would have been so mortified... it's kind of like the alarm not going off and being late. very late.

I hope you didn't type that out right after the call.

The closest I've come to is wearing my PJ's to school... at least the top half. I must be gotten side-tracked while changing, and I didn't realize it until I got to school and unzipped my jacket. Luckily it was a normal shirt I made into a PJ, otherwise it would have been much much worse.

Yes, sure you 'forgot' to go to school. That excuse never worked for me.

The teachers at my school never bought the "I was late this morning because I got abducted by aliens" excuse. *le sigh*

Oh, well. It's something to talk about in years to come, I guess.

Or something for the receptionists to snigger about behind my back.

I woke up at 7:30 on Tuesday morning, and my GT Art class starts at 7:35...:o I was like half an hour late, and I ended up not going and just waiting for school to start. Whoopsy!
