I have only followed it for a couple of seasons, but I got really into it. It's like the bloodiest, deeply psychological soap opera I've ever seen. I love it!

Okay, to anyone else who watched it, were you as shocked as I was that Uncle Junior shot Tony? Or did anyone else think he had it coming after he wouldn't let his "underling" move to Florida with his family?

Looks like you might be the only one watching it around here. I don't have HBO and I think that's where the show is, right? So I've never seen it. I did spend Sunday nights watching the BBC's Bleak House, though (on PBS.) Fantastic acting.

Ooh! Bleak House! I spent the summer I was twelve reading that book. I loved it. I should try to get that from the library when it comes out on DVD.

Sorry, Kristal. I watched the first two seasons (on disk, I don't have HBO) and then realized I was tired of watching people be nasty to each other. I prefer something with a little more warmth.

It is a good show, though, I admit. The writing is fantastic and the acting is great. Just couldn't handle all the hatred anymore.

I haven't seen any of the shows but I agree with SBW. I tend to shun shows and movies where everything and everyone is grim and gloomy and quarrelsome. I'm good for adventure, though. A year ago when my computer was on the blink for a couple of weeks, my son and I did a marathon watching (on DVD) the TV series which later had a movie sequel called Serenity. The TV show was Firefly. I thought it was cleverly done.

When I watch TV, except for the occasional classic like Bleak House, I usually go for the lightweight cheer-me-up adventures. And cop shows  like Cold Case, Law & Order, CSI (a little bit gory sometimes)

Lost was pretty good, too, but I've only seen all of season 1 on the DVD because my son gave it to me for Christmas. My daughter and I did a marathon with that one. I haven't seen any of season 2. Too busy building desert islands, mountains and castles for I,Sim. :p

I love Firefly! Anything by Joss Whedon, actually.

Haven't seen Lost yet. Too busy writing to watch much TV, plus I'm rewatching Buffy from the beginning now that I have the box set ...

 Ok, guess I am the only one. LOL Oh well.

Give Lost a try, SBW, you'd love it. It's very cerebreal. (hope I spelled that right LOL)
