Plz Help!!! -- Can't install & don't know why?"

I just bought the sims2 game and can not install.
It is a semi-brand new dell (1 year) I checked all the requirements and I belive I satisfy them all. When I go to install it asks English or Spanish, then I hear the cd rom get fast then stop then I get an error message:

Error Executing 'D:/Support/TheSims2_Code.exe'%1 is not a valid Win32 Application.

What the ??

Could you post your system specifications?

:confused: I have the same problem my PC keeps coming up with "Support/TheSims2_Code.exe'%1 is not a valid Win32 Application" I was able to install it on the laptop but not on my desktop PC. I have tryied to see what might be the problem but I can't figure it out.
