LOL! Just don't post Sims using her skintones. They're big "no-nos" on the official site. (Too much detailing. Considered "sexually explicit" and "adult only.")

I spent far too much time hunting "rudie nudies" today. Ugh. So, do a SimMaster a favor and don't upload Helaene's skintones (or any other with breast or private/genitalia detailing.)

I know you can go on www.ModTheSims2.com (http://www.ModTheSims2.com) and get 50 different color eyes , like a pack of them. It might take a while, since there's about 600 pages of downloads. There's most likely categories , or maybe you can search for a download. That might make it a little easier. Hope this helps a little bit! :o

LOL! I know what you mean. I'm rather fond of a certain "light pushup" skintone, which unfortunately has some unapproved "detailing". So, if I ever wanted to upload a Sims, I'd have to make sure to change it to a Maxis skintone.

Kimblee, if you get hold of Sims2Pack Clean Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/), you can use it to organise your downloads folder and to remove items that you don't want.

3-4 etc. click on picture #3 and there is a nice pair of golden eyes included.

Kimblee, if you get hold of Sims2Pack Clean Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/), you can use it to organise your downloads folder and to remove items that you don't want.

Yep, you can even use it to install only the eye colors you wanted, before you even put them in your downloads file.

Do you have the necessary Microsoft framework for it?

Neither the clean installer nor the Maxis Content Manager (which doesn't require the Microsoft framework, but is a bit more limited in ability) will open zips or rars. They handle things once the zip/rar has been opened. So, you'll still need something like PowerZip or WinRar to open your Rar files.

what are genetics ive seen them on download sites but i dont know what they are and also what are models?

Genetics should be eye colors, hair, and skintones. Skintone and eye color will be available in Body Shop or CAS when you create a new sim. Hairdos will be available under the Change Appearance option when a sim looks in the mirror.

By models, I guess (not positive because I don't download them) they are referring to complete sims. You need to read the fine print on those because it may tell you that you need to download hair, makeup, clothes, etc., from a different place. And sometimes, when I download an outfit I get the whole goofy sim. :rolleyes: (I really hate when that happens.)

If you aren't very confident about your knowledge and you don't want to gain stuff you didn't expect when you download Body Shop stuff that comes in Sim2Pack files (also buildings and families packaged in game) you would be well advised to use Sims2Pack Clean Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/) to install custom content. It will list the contents before it installs it and you can untick the bits you didn't intend to get.
