The problem is the sims 2 flashes red. It has a bunch of square boxes that make up the whole screen. Looks very pixelated. The weird thing is, that sometimes it looks perfect. Just like it should, then it goes back to the red color. Any ideas:mad: Also, I have a whole 75 gig free on another hard drive. Does this not count towards the free space to run the sims 2?

Oh yea, and also. It runs perfect. Goes really fast loading and everything, It just looks weird:confused: From what i've seen my graphics card should work with it.

How fast is your AMD Duron?

800 mhz I know this is the lowest it can be to work, I just don't see why it would run so fast but the graphics look like that.

Ah, well that might explain it. You are running on bare minimum specs. Basically your computers is cutting corners so it can sustain basic gameplay and one of the first things to go is the graphics.

Only short term solution I see is boasting memory (yes this means going out to buy some), but you might as well invest in a new computer.
