Please Help !

I just bought sims 2 and while installing, the installation stops and a message that says "have problem copy eauninstall.exe from media"...click retry but still have problem with it....

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this ?

Btw, here's my pc spec (i'm not sure whether this problem relates with pc spec compatibility)..

Processor : Pentium 4 3.0
Mainboard : Asus P5GDC-Pro
Hard-Disk : W'Digital 200Gb Sata
Ram : 1 Ghz DDR-2 533-Mhz
Video Card : Asus EN6600 256 Mb 128 Bit
Cd-Drive : LG DVD Combo Drive

It could be that DVD combo drive that is having problems.

which is known to cure many installation problems

I copy the whole folder from the DVD into my hard disk and try reinstall it...
but the installation still stops and the same message appears ....

Is there any possibility that the file eauninstall.exe is corrupted or broken...?
I notice that the size of the file is around 300Kb..

Can someone send me this file so that i can try to install it ?..
