View Full Version : Um... anti-social sims?

I couldn't find another discussion for this, so I'd just like to ask about it.

I have TS2 installed on my computer and for the longest time it ran beautifully. Now I have this problem that whenever I try to get a certain sim to chat with another sim (or even vice versa), they step up to each other as usual, and before a word is spoken they are both back in the places they were before they started chatting. Originally that happened with a simple chat feature, but then it spread. Now the "afflicted" sims can't sit, eat, play chess, or even talk on the phone with other sims. This is really putting a crimp in my sims' lifestyles, and some of them are really successful so they need those people as friends. Any way I can fix this?

This is the "jump bug" ... go get the patch at:

Great, thank you! I never think to look for those things.

On a side note, direct from the list of fixes...

"Visitors will no longer kidnap a baby or toddler by leaving the lot while carrying them."

LOL, does that really happen??

I had a visitor take a shower (Amin Sims making himself right at home uninvited) who then got out of the shower and picked up the baby without even getting dressed first. Except for the modesty blur. I was horrified, of course. I took the baby away from him, sent him packing, and downloaded the patch.
