I've been playing with the DVD version of Sims 2 for some time now, great game 'n' all that, but all of all of a sudden I've been having a problem. Whenever I start Sims 2, half the screen turns black (among other things except the game). I have a kick *** computer with two nvidia 7800 gts, I know I have the requirements. Maybe a problem with SLI started, but if it is with the SLI, I don't know how to fix it, and I don't know why it's just now starting. The last time I played, I entered some cheats, I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem. I've restarted my computer, tried a different account, tried cleaning the CD, and it still doesn't work right.
